Brianna’s layout is brimming with fresh food from the Farmers Market. There’s a row of three center photos, notebook paper for journaling and pretty clusters of printed dies, stickers and pattern papers with flowers and scatterings of yummy veggies. Learn more at the Doodlebug blog.
One of my favorite activities during Autumn is going to the local farms, choosing a large pumpkin, picking some apples, buying cider and grabbing some Fall flowers, usually Mums. This time of the year going to the orchard, farmer’s market or pumpkin patch and taking advantage of the bounty of Harvest foods and drinks is a nice way to get out and enjoy the cooler weather, check out the changing leaves, spend time outdoors with family and friends and enjoy all the yummy items you can buy. Today we’ll take a look at some layout ideas to get you inspired to create heartfelt Harvest scrapbook designs.
Kristina used a double page sketch for her Pumpkin Patch layout that holds a whopping 10 photos! The kids are really enjoying themselves so much in these photos surrounded by cardstock matts, small areas of pattern papers and pretty layered stamped pumpkins with die cut leaves and vines. Watch her process video at the Creating with Kristina blog.
This wonderful red, green and white Strawberry picking page from Adri has nice rustic touches balanced by sweet flowers and polka dots. There’s so much depth and dimension from all the layering and use of chipboard pieces, rub-ons and puffy stickers. She breaks it all down at the 49th and Market blog.
Use your Harvest items to set a stunning table, create some delicious meals and gather around with family and friends. This amazing double layout uses products from Creative Memories and has room for lots of photos. They are also side borders of Fall pattern paper with sticker accents and die cut circles break up the design with smaller floral borders. Find all the details at the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog.
This fantastic mixed media layout from Jil has foiling and sequins for shine, lots of stamped elements like tickets, labels and botanicals, die cut leaves, inking, chipboard elements, rub-ons and stickers. The subtle quilting details give a nice comfy feel too. Discover all the details at The Cherry on Top blog.
Checking out the chickens at the farm makes for a very fun layout design. The background is chicken wire and plaid pattern papers with lots of die cut hexagon papers gathered in the center that have been sewn around the edges. Over top are the photos and cute chicken images and words. I spotted this idea at the Echo Park Paper Instagram page.
Inessa used a terrific truck die cut full of pumpkins for the focal point of her page, backing each section with a multitude of pattern papers, also using pattern papers for top and bottom border. Notice how she placed the truck mostly over solid cardstock so the patterns wouldn’t be overwhelming. Find more details at the Paige Taylor Evans blog.
This appealing apple picking layout has bold pattern paper rectangles of apples and stripes (stitched around the edges) with a wood plank background, a custom die cut and sticker title and vintage looking tickets and labels. I came across it on the Paper Rose Studio Instagram page.
Be sure to document your own home Harvest of food and flowers you’ve grown yourself this Fall. This pretty digital page looks like it has loads of dimension with ribbon and 3D flowers but the beauty of digi is that it’s flat! I spotted this layout on Twizzle47’s gallery at Scrapbook.com.
Rustic designs work so well for Harvest pages like the woodgrains, torn paper and plaids on this delightful Sunflower layout from Shannon. She created her die cut title with burlap and green papers adding custom die cut Sunflowers too. Take a closer peek at the Stampin Bud blog.
Be sure to snap lots of photo of all the fabulous Fall flowers at the farm. Sarah added touches of gold to her beautiful layout with gold die cut letter and printed florals that have bit of gold foiling. I love the custom floral spray she designed and tiny touches like the little mushroom, acorns and fox accents she added. I came across her idea at the She Documents Life Instagram page.
I adore the custom title on Jana’s layout made with a combination of layered die cut scripty words and alphabet stickers. There’s also mats, borders and tags made with Fall pattern papers and clusters of Harvest botanicals. Check out her process video at the Jana Eubank blog.
I hope you’ll have a bountiful Harvest this year!
