I love all the little critters she included among all the mushrooms and botanicals! Learn more at the Simple Stories blog.

I love all the yellow and golden tones on this page from Stephanie! She’s got lots of translucent items like acetate film strips on the background and beautiful flowers that look like real pressed blooms layered around the photo. There’s also lots of letter pressed sentiments as well. Find more info at the Spellbinders blog.
Viktoriia pulled the yellow and blue colors from the amazing Autumn outfit in the photos into the design with lots of yellow flowers and a watercolor wash of blue in the background. There’s also some stitching and rub-ons for texture, chipboard pieces, metal embellishments and lots of layers for dimension. Learn all about it over at the 49th and Market blog.
This beautiful woodland design has lots of photos and lots of photorealistic pattern papers with close ups of textures in the forest like tree bark, leaves, moss and ferns. There’s even more wood pattern from a faux wooden frame and wood slices. Strips of hand written journaling and sentiments were placed over sections too. Find instructions at the Creative Memories blog.
Paige used one of her die cut stitching templates and embroidery floss to create this stunning stitched Fall leaves patterned background. She included 2 photos, round domed gems and little leaves fluttering around and some sticker words too. Take a closer look at the Paige Taylor Evans blog.

Shayla’s beautiful digital layout has wide top and bottom borders of pattern papers and ric rac. There’s a swag of colorful pumpkins, several tags and other items tucked behind the photos and a couple of cute woodland animals too. Notice how she spread her journaling around the page in 3 different places, that’s a nice way to break it up. Find more details at the Traci Reed Designs blog.
Wow, this layout from Boule is breath taking! It features a lot of fussy cutting of animals and botanicals from pattern papers but the results are worth all that hard work. For the background she inked and splattered cardstock and added faux stitching, around the photo she added all her cut out pieces, placing a few away from the pic. Find detailed directions at the Graphic 45 blog.
Woodland pages don’t need to all be rich greens and dark browns, check out this lovely lavender layout from Kirei. Her photos are in the form of 2 film strips with the title, sentiments and journaling balanced on the other side. There’s also a large corner cluster of florals. I came across this ideas on the Hey Little Magpie blog.
Sharon created an amazing background for her walk in the woods design using Distress Oxide Inks and a smooshing technique, stenciling leaves over top. Her large die cut title is backed with woodsy textured pattern papers and there’s some stamped sentiments too. I spotted her idea at the Peartree Cutfiles Instagram page.
Jessica’s adventuring layout has boys climbing trees surround by lots of fun embellishments in a large cluster, all towards the center of the page with chipboard and printed ephemera. Her spectacular background was created with gesso, smooshed shimmer paints, rub-ons and stitching. Watch her process video at A Cherry on Top blog.
I love this clean and simple digital layout from Sylvia! She used a green topographical map for the background, placed two small photos in postage stamp frames with a bit of embellishments, strip journaling and tree “stamp” in the center. Take a closer peek at the O Scraps blog.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this stroll through the woods!
