How to set up this coffee filter art project:
It’s so easy!
- Put out a craft tray or baking pan for your child to use.
- Place a coffee filter on the tray.
- Fill up your spray bottle with water.
- Grab some markers and put them in a container for easy access.
Coffee Filter Art Project Instructions
- Invite kids to draw on the coffee filter with markers.
- Encourage them to cover the entire coffee filter, make lines, shapes, color blocks, etc.
- Next spray the coffee filter using the mist setting. Try to spray all of the marker designs. Encourage kids to experiment using less water or more water on their designs to see what happens.
- Let the coffee filter dry.
- Hang up in a window to display or use them to make something else fun or creative, like coffee filter butterflies.
