How to set up this sensory art activity
- Roll out some aluminum foil and stick it to an easel, table, or craft tray with painters tape.
- Put paint sticks in a basket!
- Now you’re ready to create!
Foil Drawing Instructions
- Show kids the aluminum foil on their easel/tray. Demonstrate how to open and close paint sticks and how to roll them up.
- Next show kids how to draw on the foil. We explored doing different types of lines- straight, curvy, spiral, etc.
- Let kids create!
- I love to have a shared easel experience when I’m introducing a new tool, so I put several foil sheets up on the easel for my entire class. You could also give each child their own piece of foil to use on a craft tray.
